my review

i have learnt how to use a lot of different tools while doing this project. mostly it was frustration and i have found a few favorite tools through photoshop. i found some tasks more fun then others. overall as much fun as photoshop can be with perfecting photos, i dont like using it. i prefer to have 100% original photographs.

kitchen utensils

i had such difficulty with this one. i firstly tried the magic wand tool and it removed part of my image, as you can see, this provided a problem for me. i decided to add another layer and try another tool to fix it. layer mask. this helped with filling in the missing shadow of the spoons.

adjustments

learning about how to make changes to an image by either destroying it or doing it in a way that doesn't destroy it.
shown above is a way of destroying the image.

frustrating task!!!

so we learnt about layer masks and man did i think wrong. i thought it would be easy but i struggled, especially with the finer details such as the hair and shadowing on the shoes. im slowly getting the hang of this. fingers crossed it gets easier for me!!!

experimenting with multiple face parts

had fun with this one. many different animal face parts were used to construct this picture. we were given a brief to construct a face instead i decided to adventure out of the box and construct a princess like figure. this is a shot of the finished construction. after this i experimented with background colouring/gradient.
